IV: The Bottom Line

​

The bottom line matters. Our “return on investment” is critical to our thriving as a nation for the NLC, as an “exchange.” Let us cut to the chase together.

​

In the period of 2017 to 2020, we are devoting our complete team and resources to the practice of civility and servant leadership. In this we shall advocate for “The Exchange” as our give and take leadership model. We will give to you and perhaps you may choose to give back.

​

To be more specific, the NLC “Exchange Rate” is our considering equal value in an exchange. This is what we wish to give:

As servant leaders,

​

  • WE WILL GIVE our very best time and resources to youth in the study and practice of servant leadership and civility in ongoing leadership programs – local, state and national. To do this, we need you!

  • WE WILL GIVE our full attention to the veterans and their families in service to them in the ways of civility, respect, engagement and faith. To do this, we need you!

  • WE WILL GIVE our every support in celebrating and partnering with the leaders and their organizations that practice what they preach in the name of civility. To do this, we need you!

  • WE WILL GIVE our best planning to a 2017-2020 national civility tour, as led by James Leach in 2010. To do this, we need you!

  • WE WILL GIVE our complete attention to redefining May 1 in America as a National Day for Civility, Loyalty & Trust. To do this, we need you!

  • WE WILL GIVE and share our vision for an over-arching national civility and servant leadership network through and with educational institutions (20), for profit businesses (20), non-profit and faith-driven organizations (20), veteran initiatives (20), and local, state and national governments (20). To do this, we need ALL of you!

There you have it! We have been giving. We will give more. That is our bottom line! What is your bottom line? Are you interested in giving back with an equal “exchange rate?” Want to have fun with this most serious of causes for America’s wellbeing? Is there a project shared which appeals to your DNA?
